William "John" McMaster, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 77.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Harold and Ethel (DeLong) McMaster. He was a school teacher and retired from James M. Hill High School. He was also a past member of the Miramichi Ski Club.

He will be greatly missed by his best friend Dennis Casey; many friends; and several cousins.

A graveside celebration will be held at St Mark's Cemetery, in Quarryville, on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 1:30 pm.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA.
