Timothy Robert Simon

It is with great sadness the family of Timothy Robert Simon,  announce his passing on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Born in Sussex, NB on January 12, 1945 to the late Clarence Simon and Mary Stella Dedam.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Mary Elizabeth (Freda) Simon and sons: Darryl Morris of Eskasoni, NS, Tim Jr. (Lana Joss), Teddy and Brian; daughter: Jody (Leonard) all of Natoaganeg, NB; grandchildren: Nick, Brett, Kyle, Ryan, Braden, Taylor V., Talon, Cyrus, Taylor S., Sage, Sam, Kaelyn, Blade, Olivia, Drake, Reese, Eliza and several great grandchildren; sister: Elaine Simon, Esgenoôpetitj, NB, and brother: Raymond Dedam (Lois Underhill) Esgenoôpetitj, NB; god child: Arnold Ginnish; stepsister: Roselee Sark, Elsipotog, NB.

Besides his parents, he is pre-deceased by his son Clifford Larry; grandchild: Lauren and brothers: Leonard Simon and Daryl Simon.

Timothy was a proud Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving form 1965 to 1969 and later in the Reserves from 1970 to 1971.

Always willing to try his hand at new things, Timothy held many jobs following his time in the military, including Bus Driver, Security Officer, Police Officer, Animal Control Officer and various other positions giving him a jack of all trades reputation.

Attending Pow Wows was one of Timothy's greatest joys and he looked forward to each season and the great experiences he would share with family and friends. Family gatherings were always a great time for Timothy, and we will treasure our times spent together.

Family will receive relatives and friends from 6pm – 8pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 2pm at St.Joachim's Roman Catholic Church, Natoaganeg, NB.
