Timothy Nowlan

Timothy "Timmy" Earl Nowlan, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at Percy's Place with his family by his side, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the age of 66.

Born in Newcastle, he was the son of the late Marion (MacKenzie) Holt and Edward Nowlan. In his early years, Timmy worked for Karnes Bread and recently retired after 36 years as a truck driver with Northumberland Co-op. He was also involved with Scouts Canada and volunteered as a Leader with Boy Scout Venturers, and was a volunteer firefighter for 14 years.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Shawn (Estey) Nowlan of Miramichi; his children Andrew Nowlan (Bahar) of Canmore, AB, and Kelsey Nowlan of Miramichi; his brother, Fred Nowlan (Mary) of Miramichi; his sister, Sandra Guth (Ben) of Miramichi; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his stepfather David Holt; and niece Katelynn.

Visitation will take place at Northumberland Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11 am, with Rev. David Allan officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations made to Percy's Place would be appreciated by the family.
