It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tommy MacMillan (Nora Ann Roberts) on Monday, January 12, at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 78. Tommy was the only child of Thomas MacMillan and Elsbeth (Currie) MacMillan.
Besides Nora Ann, Tommy leaves behind his two sons Bradley and Jamie (Stephanie), and his five grandchildren, Taya, Raven, Dax, Caroline and Max and his "bonus family," Tracy Endersby (Randy) Kylie and Declan, Natalie Donahue (Chris), Kate and Nolan.
Tommy worked his entire career with NB Power, and in his spare time, he was also co-owner of the Scoreboard and End Zone Pub with Nora Ann and Brian Richard. Friends and many fans of baseball, football and hockey would gather at the End Zone Pub to watch the games. Tommy was the #1 fan of the Red Sox since he was 5 years old, when he travelled to Boston each year with his parents. Tommy played softball and baseball in his younger years and then coached many young teams as his boys were growing up.
Tommy will be greatly missed by all who knew him. As per Tommy's wishes, there will be no wake or funeral. A celebration of Tommy's life will be held at the Miramichi Curling Club on Saturday, January 17, from 2-4 pm.
