Laura Theresa (Vicaire) Ward, of Eel Ground, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday, April 1, 2022.

Born in Newcastle, she was the daughter of the late David and Helen (Dedam) Vicaire.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters Lisa Vicaire, Gloria Ward, Debrah Ward, and Rose Ward; her sons Alvin Ward and David Ward; her sister Linda Ward; her brothers Raymon Dedam and Robert Vicaire; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Catherine; sisters Cecile Ward and Marlene Vicaire; and her brother Paul Vicaire.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Monday, April 4, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 11 am, from St Joachim's Roman Catholic Church, with Father Peter Aloo officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
