Terrance John Morrison

Terrance "Terry" John Morrison, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at Percy's Place on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, at the age of 74 with his family by his side. 

Born in Newcastle, he was the son of the late Louis and Frances (Ford) Morrison. He worked as a Superintendent at Repap Paper Mill for 37 years.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years, Elaine (Flynn) Morrison of Miramichi; his children, Christopher (Jamie) of Miramichi, Mary Anne (Dave Reynolds) of Fredericton, and Scott (Annie) of Fredericton; five sisters, late Irene Parks (Donnie), Brenda Allison (Frank), Betty Morrison, Patti Morrison, and late Kathy Lewis (Ron) all of Miramichi; two brothers, David (Barbara) of Miramichi and Gerald (Sheila) of Fort MacMurray; nine grandchildren, Claire, Kate, Will, Charlie, Ben, Skyler, Talia, Jake, and Alexe; as well as several nieces and nephews.

As most knew, Terry was a truly hard-working man; he built his life around his family and found his deepest joy in being a father and “Grampie” to his nine beloved grandchildren. Whether at games, performances, or everyday moments, he was their biggest supporter, always present, always proud, and always cheering them on.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Northumberland Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 12 pm to 1:45 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm, at Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Father John Fraser officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations made to Percy's Place would be greatly appreciated by the family.
