Stewart John King, of Miramichi, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 67.

Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mairi (Stewart) King.

He will be greatly missed by his two sons Sean King of Edmonton, AB and Eliot King of Haida, BC; their mother Carolyn King of Penticton, BC; four sisters Josephine (Fraser Howe) of Miramichi, Veronica (Ian MacCuaig) of Dalhousie Station, QC, Linda (Ron Emberg) of Orleans, ON, and Patsy (Ken English) of Miramichi; one brother Gary (Kim) of Miramichi; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Friday, November 10, 2017, from 3 to 6 pm. A memorial service will take place, at 6 pm, following the visitation, with Father Creamer officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi Food Bank, or to a memorial of one's choice.
