Stafford Allen Sutherland, husband of the late Darlene Sutherland, of Sevogle, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 76.

Born in Hilltop, he was the son of the late Murdock and Catherine (Mullin) Sutherland. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Heath Steel Mines and was a member of Wesley United Church, in Trout Brook.

He will be sadly missed by his son Richard Sutherland of Miramichi; four sisters Majorie Delano of Central NB Nursing Home, Kathleen Quayle of Williamstown, Annie Mae McGregor of Cassilis, and Carolyn (John Matthews) of Matthew Settlement; three brothers Stanley (Patsy) of Sunny Corner, Murdock (Marjorie) of Exmoor, and Earl (Carolyn) of Exmoor.

Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two brothers Jim and Perley, and his sister Margaret.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015, from Wesley United Church, in Trout Brook, at 2 pm, with Rev. John Frasier officiating.
