  • Russell Charles Walls, of Renous, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 72.

    Born in Blackville, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Joyce (Arbeau) Walls. He worked as a scaffolder and was a member of St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, Renous.

    He will be greatly missed by his wife Faye (Hogan) of Renous; two daughters April Colepaugh (Gary) of Upper Derby and Karri Keenan (Jeff) of Lockstead; two sisters Wilma Jean Wilson (Alistair) and Norma Levesque (Rino) both of Nova Scotia; two brothers Percy Walls (Lynn) of Hamilton, ON, and John Walls (Lise) of Quebec; four grandchildren Chelsey Colepaugh, Chad Colepaugh, Riley Keenan, and Calvin Keenan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

    A private visitation will be held at St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, in Renous, on Thursday, August 6, 2020, from 7 to 9 pm. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 7, 2020, at 11 am, from St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, with Father Bastarache officiating.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or to a memorial of one's choice.
