Rosella Charlotte Moore

Rosella Charlotte (VanWart) Moore, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the age of 86.

Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Christine (MacLean) VanWart. Prior to moving to Miramichi, she worked at the Saint John City Market and was the owner of Rosebud's.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Harold "Bud" Moore of Miramichi; three children Elizabeth (Phillip Burt) of Charlottetown, PE, Daryl (Brenda) of Dartmouth, NS, and Pam Porter of Miramichi, NB; five grandchildren Daryl (Melissa) Moore, Amber Moore, Adam (Tracey) Moore, Brittany (Jared) Porter, and Andrew Burt; seven great grandchildren Brayden Moore, Liam Moore, Jarrett Moore, Conner Basque, Zachary Moore, Landon Burgess and Cohen Burgess; great great grandson Cole Wycott; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister and six brothers.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be a time of visitation at Northumberland Funeral Home, on Monday, July 21st, from 1-3 pm. Interment will take place in Garnett Settlement Cemetery, Saint John, NB, on Wednesday, July 23rd, at 3 p.m.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA, Miramichi Regional Hospital, or to a memorial of one's choice.
