It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Reginald Vincent Trevors, who passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025 at the age 84 years.
Born on August 5, 1940, in Chatham, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Norman and Florence (nee Swain) Trevors. Reggie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished each moment spent with them.
He leaves behind his six beloved children: Debbie Matchett (Chris) of Miramichi, Natasha Elliott (Jeff) of Grandview, Manitoba, Sandy Hamel (Kevin), Kiley McAllister (Jackie), Randy Trevors (Edie), Kim Foran (Phillip) and his son-in-law, Sterling Sherrard, all of Alberta. He is also survived by his brothers, Carmen, Gordon, and Brian all of Miramichi; and his sister, Rosemary of Moncton; as well as his nineteen grandchildren, who were the light of his life: Ty, Rylan, Jensen, Sawyer (Keaton), Emily (Graysen) Quaid, Andrew (Katherine), Konnar (Rylynne), Karden (Connor), Crystal, Chantal (Mitch), Tamara (Vince), Riley (Carly), Colby (Gracie), Brandie (John), Jami (Greg), Lacey (Justin), Alissa and Ashtin (Savannah). He was also blessed with eighteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
Reggie was predeceased by his beloved wife, Agnes (nee McAllister) Trevors; his daughter, Anna Leigh Sherrard; his grandson, Logan Matchett; his parents, Norman and Florence (Swain) Trevors; his brothers, Calvin, Charles, Norman Jr., Donald, Carl, and Joseph; and his sisters, Norma, Marie and Margaret.
Reggie was a man of unwavering kindness. He was known for his gentle spirit, warm heart, and unshakable love for his family. To those who knew him, he was a steady, comforting presence who brought laughter into every room he entered. Loved by all who met him, Reggie’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, in Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Malson Lodge, 1 Halcomb Rd, in Lyttleton, NB.
