Reginald MacTavish

Reginald MacTavish, of Strathadam, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 77.

Born in Strathadam, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Carolyn (Matchett) MacTavish, and was a retired millworker from UPM.

He will be greatly missed by his son Scott MacTavish (Laurie McKenzie) of Miramichi; sister Mona MacTavish (Tom Power) of Miramichi; grandsons Dillan and Tyler MacTavish; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Deborah (Taylor) MacTavish, and his special friend Mary Singleton.

Visitation with a reception will be held at Northumberland Funeral Home, on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 12 pm to 3 pm. Interment will take place in Boom Road Cemetery at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Miramichi SPCA.
