Mr. Regan Young passed away at his residence on Sunday February 3, 2008 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Miramichi he was the son of the late Michael and Kathleen (O’Brien) Young. He was an Industrial Mechanic and was employed with Acadia Forrest Products for 20 years. He attended St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Miramichi.

Besides his wife Elsie (Gautreau), he is survived by five daughters Patricia Rolfe (Eugene) of Strathadam, Karen McVey (Steve) of Moncton, Noreen Donovan (Sandy) of Derby Junction, Donna Burns (Ronnie) of Plaster Rock and Judy Young (Darren Johnston) of Douglastown; one son Paul (Tammy) of B.C.; four sisters Noreen Drillen (Alfred), Evelyn MacIvor (Emery), Ann Burns (Leo) and Kathleen Godin all of the Miramichi; two brothers Bill Young (Carolyn) of Miramichi and Mike Young (Lorraine) of Miramichi; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his brother Hubert, Regan was predeceased by one brother-in-law Hector Godin.
