Raymond Reynolds

Raymond "Ray" James Reynolds passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 62.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Raymond and Lorna (Frost) Reynolds.

He is survived by his daughter Raean; stepdaughter Shaundra and wife Crystal; sisters Debbie (Robert), Colleen, and Annabelle (Ray); brothers Terry (Lillian) and Larry; nieces Lindsay, Tiffany, and Kara; nephews Jeff, Tim, and Zach; and several great nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Jack; infant sister Eleanor Ann; his partner Marge (Watt); and infant daughter Lorna.

Ray had quite a wild life. He is best remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and generosity. He loved to play cards with his buddies and had a humorous spirit. Ray was a great cook, loved his music loud, and loved his daughters more than anything.

He loved the outdoors and told stories of grand adventures. He was a huge movie lover and liked to watch his shows every morning. Ray was artistic too. He often would be creating something like a crib board/table hybrid, or showing off his sketching skills he learned from his uncle. He was a great friend, father and a truly down-to-earth man who would give the shirt off his back for anyone he loved. He will be greatly missed.

A gathering in celebration of Ray will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 1 to 3 pm, at Northumberland Funeral Home.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
