Ralph Frederick Fogarty

Ralph Frederick Fogarty, of Cody Street Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 79, on Sunday December 29, 2013.

Born on August 06, 1934 in Guysborough County, he was the son of the late Michael Vincent Fogarty and Lucy Feltmate.

Prior to retirement Ralph was a meat cutter at Maple Leaf Foods in Moncton, NB. Ralph volunteered and assisted with the Canadian Council of the Blind after moving to Miramichi, and was also active with the Nelson Seniors.

He is survived by one daughter; Ann of Beresford, NB. 5 sons; Dan (Giselle) of Grand Prairie AB, Vincent of Vancouver, BC, Mark (Jeannie) of Miramichi, NB, Chris (Paula) of Doyles Brook, NB, and Michael of Moncton, NB. One stepdaughter; Christine Gallant of Moncton, NB. One sister; Kay (Frank Dunn) of Fredericton, NB. Three brothers; Mike of Toronto, ON, Ronnie of Guelph, ON, and Gary of Alberta. 8 grandchildren; Matthew, Justin, Derrick, Brennus, Maeve, Cian, Brett, and Evan. Two great-grandchildren; Hailey and Spencer.

Besides his parents Ralph was pre-deceased by three sisters; Betty, Mary, and Kay. Seven brothers; Donnie, Joe, Tom, Jim, Howard, Phil, and Patrick.

At Ralph's request there be no visitation or funeral service.

In Ralph's memory donations may be made to a memorial of ones choice.
