Peter Andrew Peterson

Peter Andrew Peterson of White Rapids passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the age of 73.

Born in Upper Blackville, NB, he was the son of the late Claude and Patricia (Arbeau) Peterson. He worked as a merchandiser with Pepsi-Co where he took great pride in his work and made many friends, earning several accolades along the way. He was a proud member of Saint Bridget's Roman Catholic Church who donated his time to help with church suppers and Bingos as well as a very active member of the Knights of Columbus Father Barry Council 7481, where he served as Grand Knight twice, earning himself Grand Knight of the year in 2004 and was treasurer for many years. Peter was an avid fly fisherman who always found his peace by the river.

He will be greatly missed by beloved his wife of 45 years, Irene (Baglole) Peterson of White Rapids; daughter, Treena Welsh (David) of Moncton; son, Joshua Peterson of White Rapids; three grandchildren who were the light of his life, Seth, Adeline, and Ezra; three brothers, Winslow (Coleen) of Blackville, Tony (Donelda) of Blackville, and Brian (Wanda) of Doaktown; many nieces and nephews; and his special fur baby Percy Peterson.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his infant daughter Megan Peterson, brother Clifton Peterson and mother-in-law Mary Baglole.

Visitation will take place at White Rapids C.W.L. Hall on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 6 to 8 pm, and on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 11 am, from St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, in Renous, with Father Paul Doucet officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
