Peter James Casey, of Miramichi, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at the age of 34.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of Gerald and Lourdes (Nolais) Casey. He worked as a courier driver, and was a member of Miramichi Ground Search & Rescue, as well as St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Charline (LeBlanc) Casey; two sons Tyler and Kyle Casey; one brother Bill (Mari Anne) of Ottawa, ON; two aunts Paula McLaughlin (Mike) of Renous and Judy Pyne of Chatham; eight nieces; three nephews; several cousins; and the Leblanc – Gaggio families.


He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Clifford and Margaret Casey; his maternal grandparents Crumley and Mabel Nolais; and his aunt Ann McBriarty.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Sunday, March 6, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 7, 2016, at 2 pm, from St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, with Father Tom Fowler officiating.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or to the Miramichi Ground Search & Rescue.
