Peter Hominick Jr., passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, at the age of 73.

He was the son of the late Peter and Rita (Leroy) Hominick and was a member of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church as well as a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 43 in Truro, NS. He was a horticulturist and worked for Brookdale Nurseries for many years.

He will be sadly missed by his two sisters Barbara Thistle, and Paula Dell both of Sydney, NS; two brothers Paul Hominick (Cheryl) of Truro, NS, and Harvey Leroy of Dartmouth, NS; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Gemma (MacLean) and brother Donald Leroy.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Monday, April 4, 2016, from 1 to 3 pm. The funeral service will be held at 3 pm, following the visitation, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Tom Fowler officiating.
