Annie Pearl (McAllister) Jardine, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, at the age of 87.
Born in Sillikers, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Octavis (Matchett) McAllister. She worked at the Miramichi Hospital in the laundry department and was a Past President of the Renous Senior Citizens Club. Pearl was also an avid quilter, sewer, and loved crafts.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Claudette Jardine Cavanagh of Quarryville; five sons Edward (Ned) (Rosaleen) of Boom Road, Donald (Don) (Pauline St Coeur) of Warwick Road, Terrance (Terry) (Bernadette) of Bartholemew, Hubert (Marie) of Quarryville, and Garth (Janice) of Blackville; sister Joan Stewart (Cleve) of Point-Claire, Quebec; sister-in-law Yvonne Jardine; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Clive Jardine; five sisters Fern Delano, Leotta Creamer, Mona McAllister, May McAllister, and Jean McAllister; and six brothers Joseph, Gerald, Freeman, Fleming, Daniel, and John.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, at 2 pm, with Rev. Charlene Maguire-McKnight officiating.
