Paulette Warren

September 2, 1945 — January 28, 2026

Paulette Alfreda Warren (Gallan) formally of The William’s Residence Care Home, 586 Newcastle Blvd, Miramichi, NB, passed away at Percy’s Place on January 28th, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born in Doyles Brook, NB, on September 02, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Pauline (Munn) Gallan. Paulette worked as a hairdresser in her early years before becoming a wife and mother.

Over the years, Paulette would provide house cleaning services to many throughout the neighbourhood. She also baked her delicious doughnuts, scotch cookies and fruit cakes for many friends and relatives to enjoy. However, her one true passion and calling was her ability to sew and create the most beautiful wedding and prom dresses…too many to count. She also provided many alterations for individuals.

Besides her husband Byron and her parents, Paulette was pre-deceased by her infant siblings: Gloria Jean, Shirley Joan, and Irvine Roy; brothers: Bev, Paul and Fred; infant twin grandsons: Justin and Eugene Warren; sisters-in-law: Alberta and Teresa Gallan, and Judy Crawford; brothers-in-law: David Scribner, and Murray Crawford; several aunts, uncles, friends and close relatives

Paulette is survived by her son, Sherman (Bernadette) of Crossfield, AB; her daughter, Dorothy (Warren) Jones (Pastor Terry) of Miramichi, NB; sisters: Evelyn Nash (James) of Shannex (Losier Hall), Claudia Coughlan (Reggie), of Doyles Brook, NB; brother: Daniel (Dale) of Cambridge, ON; grandsons: Andrew Sullivan (Mya) of PEI, Matthew Sullivan of Doyles Brook, NB, Jordan Warren (Makenzie) of Drumheller, AB, Brendon Warren (Taylor) of Crossfield, AB; Matthew Jones of Fredericton, NB; granddaughters: Chelynn Warren (Kyle) of Crossfield, AB, Melanie Jones (Mark) of Moncton, NB; great grandchildren: Lincoln Marie Sullivan, Asher and Harper Warren, and Dylan MacKenzie, sisters-in-law: Kathy Coughlan of Fredericton, NB, Marlene Scribner of Hampton, NB, Terri Crawford of Miramichi, NB, and Henrietta (Nash) Grey of Loggieville, NB; aunt: Shirley Finney (late Stan) of Fredericton, NB; several cousins, nieces and nephews ; two very special caregivers: Judy Arbeau and Nicole Harris…thank you for making our mother feel like family, not just a resident.

At Paulette's request, there will be no visitation or funeral. A gathering for the immediate family will be held at St. Mark's United Church Cemetery, Douglastown, NB, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, in Paulette's memory, donations to Percy’s Place would be appreciated.

A heartfelt thank you from Paulette’s family goes to the staff on 3 East and 4 East (Palliative) at the Miramichi Regional Hospital for the care she received while there. A huge thank you to ALL the wonderful staff at Percy’s Place, thank you for making her stay comfortable until she was called home. Thank you to all the staff of the William’s Residence Care Home, we appreciate everything you did for our mom while in your care.

A huge thank you to Dr. Ramberan and Dr. G. Losier for all the wonderful care provided for our mother. You went above and beyond the call of duty. We will never forget your kind words and your gentle care.
