Paul Freeman Sterling Kenny

Paul Freeman Sterling Kenny, of Sillikers, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the age of 85.

Born in Newcastle, Freeman was the son of the late Everett and Jeannette (Matchett) Kenny. He worked as an Industrial Mechanic prior to his retirement.

He will be greatly missed by his son, Jeffery Kenny (Vicky) of Sillikers; sister, Judy Matchett of Strathadam; grandchildren Kyle and Trissie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Linda Lou Kenny; sisters, Maggie, Edith, Rita, Mary, and Freda; and brothers, Walter, Marlon, Howard, John, Joseph, Charles, Fred, and Art.

Visitation will take place at Northumberland Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 2 pm to 4 pm. A private graveside burial will take place at the Back Road Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
