Patricia Eleanor (Arbeau) Peterson, of Blackville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 92.

Born in Upper Blackville, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ruby Arbeau. She worked with Forest Protection before her retirement and was a member of New Life United Pentecostal Church, in Blackville.

She will be greatly missed by her five sons Clifton (Louise) of Blissfield, Tony (Donalda) of Blackville, Brian (Wanda) of Doaktown, Peter (Irene) of White Rapids, and Winslow (Coleen) of Blackville; four sisters Zena (Ralph Foster) of Harsborough, Virginia Moore of Truro, NS, Carol Arbeau of Toronto, ON, and Paulette Stevenson of Truro, NS; two brothers Clyde Arbeau of Blissfield and Eric Arbeau of Barnettville; fourteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Claude; infant son Willis; infant daughter; and four brothers Arnold, Basil, Archie, and Keith.

The family will receive relatives and friends from New Life United Pentecostal Church, in Blackville, on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, from 6 to 9 pm, and on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 2 pm, from New Life United Pentecostal Church, with Rev. John Beech officiating.
