Norma Jean (Matchett) Beauchamp, of Warwick Settlement, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the age of 76.

Born in Red Bank, NB, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Lillian Matchett. She worked as a custodian at North & South Esk Elementary prior to her retirement, and was a member of St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank.

She will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 53 years, Guy Beauchamp of Warwick Settlement; daughters Chantal Beauchamp (Philip Healy) of Oromocto, and Céline Colford (Patrick) of Warwick Settlement; her very special granddaughter Danika Colford, who was the light of her life; sisters Molly Jardine of Warwick Settlement and Veronica Matchett of Notre Dame, NB; sisters-in-law Peggy Matchett of Red Bank, Joanne Bérubé (Charles), Murielle Beaudry (Raymond), and Lise Lafrenière (late Gilles) all of Gatineau, Québec. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters Mary Allison (late Wendell), Dorothy Matchett (late John), and Theresa LaFrance; and brothers George (late Jeannine), Arthur, Mick, and Irvine.

The family wishes to thank the many doctors, nurses, and other Healthcare providers Norma has had over the years. Special thanks to Dr. Black and Nurse Debbie, and to Nurse Heidi who was with Norma in her final moments. We will never forget the kindness shown to us during this difficult time.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 11 am, from St Thomas Roman Catholic Church, in Red Bank, with Father Peter Igwe officiating.
