Nina Marie Mizuik

Nina Marie (Vautour) Mizuik, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the age of 84.

Born on September 6, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John and Irene (Furlotte) Vautour. She was a business owner and special care home operator.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Todd Mizuik (Lisa) of Victoria, BC, Roland Kier Mizuik (Tanya), Jill Mizuik, and Jared Mizuik, all of Miramichi; two sisters, Joanne O'Toole (Late Frank) and Iona Graham (Late Clyve), both of Miramichi; her chosen daughters, Deborah Sealy, Susan Hurley, Karen Anne Bimm, and Sandra O'Neill; six grandchildren, Keltie, William (Emily), Kyanna, Katyanna, Jared, and Andrea; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Mizuik, and many brothers and sisters.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 12 pm to 2 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm, with Father Sylvanus Omali officiating. Interment will take place in St Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a memorial of one's choice.
