Neil Brian Michael MacDonald

Neil Brian Michael MacDonald, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at Losier Hall on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the age of 75.

Born in Campbellton, he was the son of the late Allan and Etta (Brown) MacDonald. Neil worked for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans as a Fisheries Officer and enjoyed fishing, boating and drives in the woods.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Sharon (Foran) MacDonald of Miramichi; two daughters, Terri and Karly (Scott MacFarlane) both of Miramichi; two sisters Susan Bowes (Bobby) of Miramichi and Heather Lloyd (Michael) of Baie-Sainte-Anne; one brother, David MacDonald (Beth) of Moncton; three grandchildren, Jacob MacDonald, Matthew MacDonald, and Spencer MacFarlane; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Hughie MacDonald.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside burial will take place at Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
