Mr. William Henry Baldwin

William Henry Baldwin passed away peacefully on the morning of June 7th, 2009 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital with family by his side. He was 72 years of age.
Bill proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces and retired from the Guard Staff at the Bank of Canada. He was an active member of the Canadian Peacekeeping Veterans Association (Miramichi Chapter). He enjoyed over 50 years on this earth with his soul mate and wife Ute and raised 4 children.
Someone recently told me that he always knew Bill to be smiling and laughing. I can think of no better way to portray him. He had a genuine love of life, was a dedicated and honest husband, a wonderful father and most importantly a great friend to us all. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
Bill is survived by wife Ute; daughter Tanika (Doug); sons, William (Lois), Blythe (Allison), and Terence; grandchildren, Diana, Tyler, Lauren and Logan; sister-in-law Heidi and family; brothers, Fred, George, Harry, Stan and their respective families; sisters, Evelyn, Sybil, Joan and their respective families.
Interment will be held at a later date at the Pinecrest Cemetery in Ottawa, Ontario.
