Mr. Gordon Linkletter, of Miramichi, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2009, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 81.

Gordon was the son of the late Thomas Edward and Lydia (Desroches) Linkletter. He worked as a businessman (meat cutter) until his retirement and attended St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife Marjorie (Mitchell); three daughters Barbara Phee, Beverly (Tom Kenny), and Paula (Paul Burns) all of Miramichi; two sons Thomas (Pam) and Mitchell (Shannon) both of Miramichi; one brother Nelson (Irene) of Hamilton, Ontario; 14 grandchildren; one great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers Lloyd and Neil.
