Claude Peterson, husband of Patricia Peterson, of Blackville, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at the Miramichi Hospital, at the age of 83.

He was the son of the late Melvin and Cassie (Arbeau) Peterson of Upper Blackville and he worked as a guide.

Besides his wife Patricia, Claude is survived by five sons Clifton (Louise) of Blissfield, Tony (Donalda) of Blackville, Brian (Wanda) of Doaktown, Peter (Irene) of White Rapids, and Winslow (Colleen) of Blackville; four sisters Alma of Blackville, Phyllis of Upper Blackville, Laura of Fredericton, and Leta (Claude) of Blissfield; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers Merle and Hinson.
