Michael Robert Augustine

Michael Robert Augustine passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Hôpital Anna-Laberge, in Châteauguay, Quebec, at the age of 64.

He was raised in Haut-Sheila, NB, by the late Hermine Savoie, and was born in Chatham, NB, to the late Mary Agnes Augustine and Alfred Deveau.

He will be missed by his Robichaud family: Jacqueline and Clifford; his Richard family: Claudia, Marco, Marie-José, Hugo, and Bruno; and his Augustine family: Nonie Augustine (Ron McIntyre), Elizabeth Colburn (Late Doug), Mary Ginnish (George), Roger Augustine (Lois), Marcel Thibodeau (Margaret), Richard Augustine (Darlene), and Duane Augustine (Late Kathy) all of Eel Ground; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his adoptive mother and biological parents, he was predeceased by his sister Leona Francis and brothers Courtney Augustine and John Hubert Augustine.

Visitation will take place at Northumberland Funeral Home, and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Joachim's Roman Catholic Church in Eel Ground, with date and time to be announced.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
