Mr. Melvin Vicaire, of Eel Ground, passed away suddenly on July 7, 2011, at the age of 52.

He was the son of Hilda (Ginnish) and the late Raymond Vicaire. Melvin was a spiritual elder.

He is survived by his wife Marion; one son Lyle of Elsipogtog, NB; one sister Sandra (George) of Eel Ground; one brother Joe of Eel Ground; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives an friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Monday, July 11, 2011, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will take place at the Miramichi Cemetery, on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at 2 pm.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
