Marlene Joe, of Burnt Church, passed away at her residence on Wednesday at the age of 37.

Born in Newcastle she was the daughter of Sarah (Francis) Joe and the late William Joe. She attended St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Burnt Church. Besides her mother she is survived by six brothers Willard, Gilbert, Derry, Harvey, Melvin and Jeffrey Joe all of Burnt Church; five sisters Freda Cloud (Vincent), Doreen Comeau (Ronald), Georgina Joe, Juanita Joe and Darlene Augustine all of Burnt Church; 10 nieces and six nephews and several aunts and uncles.
