Marion Katherine (MacKenzie) Holt, wife of the late David Holt, of Miramichi, passed away at her residence, Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at the age of 77.

Marion was the daughter of the late Earl and Nan (Wood) MacKenzie of Douglastown.

Marion attended St Michael's school in Chatham and worked for 32 years as a telephone operator at NBTel. She was also a member of the Miramichi Wesleyan Church.

Marion is survived by three children; Fred Nowlan (Mary), Tim Nowlan (Shawn) both of Miramichi, and Sandra Guth (Ben) of Holland.
Marion was also the sister of Carney Depres, Kathleen Flanagan, Helen McArdle, Gordon MacKenzie and Isabel Burns.
She was the proud grandmother of five grandchildren; Dylan Ginnish and Taylor Ginnish of Holland, Andrew Nowlan and Kelsey Nowlan of Miramichi, and Brooke Nowlan of Miramichi.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings Donna Ross, Ralph MacKenzie, Marjorie Walsh, Nancy MacKenzie, and Andrew MacKenzie.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Friday, June 26, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 11 am, with Pastor Gary Churchill officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the Diabetes Association.
