Marie Underhill passed away at Losier Hall, on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at the age of 93.

Born in Quarryville, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Hazel (Astle) Underhill. She worked as a grocery clerk at Astle's Store in her early years and later on became a devoted homemaker. She was a member of the A.C.W. and Holy Trinity Anglican Church, in Blackville.

She will be greatly missed by her three sons Kevin (Carol Ann), Delbert, and Bradley (Mary Ellen) all of Miramichi; five sisters Margie Murphy (Doug) of Ottawa, ON, Vera Gillespie (Eldon) of Barnettville, Mildred Ewen (late Jay) of Elliot Lake, ON, Lorraine Walls (late Howard) of Calgary, AB, and Sandra Dann (Lionel) of Halifax, NS; four brothers Shirley Underhill (Sally), Leslie Underhill (Launda), Clarence Underhill (Darlene) all of Blackville, and Daryl Underhill (Ellen) of Moncton, NB; three grandchildren Chey-Anne, Jillian (Matthew), and Rose Ann; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Leroy Underhill; her sister Sister Eva Underhill; and two brothers Herman (Bunnie) and Reginald.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, on Thursday, December 5, 2019, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019, at 11 am, from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, with Father Laskey officiating.
