Margaret Tremblay, 98 of The Briarlea off Gorge, Moncton and formerly of Greenfield Park, PQ, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Howard, NB, she was the daughter of the late George H. Hennessy and Nora (Weaver) Hennessy. Margaret would have celebrated her 99th birthday on May 30.
Margaret is survived by her son Emile Tremblay (Eileen) of Pickering Ontario, grandsons Andrew (Joanna) and Jason (Kelsie), great grandson Rhys all of Toronto; two brothers Lawrence Hennessy (Helen) and George D. Hennessy (late Freda) both of Moncton; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband Roland, her daughter Rhona Tremblay; brothers Robert, Weaver, Leonard and sisters Annie, Evelyn and Noreen.
The family would like to thank the staff at Briarlea for their care and kindness over the last 8 months.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Raphael’s Catholic Church (107 Main St., Blackville, NB) on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11 am with Father Paul Doucet presiding. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
