On March 2, 2021, with her loving family by her side, Margaret R. Lingley went to sleep at Miramichi Regional Hospital, and awakened in a better place, free from all suffering.

Marg would have been 82 at the end of this month.

Left to grieve are her children Darrell (Miramichi), Charlene (Les) Douglastown, Herbie (Addie) Miramichi, Wayne (Dr. Losier Hall), Sonya (Phil) Miramichi.

Her grandchildren whom she loved dearly Kelly, Krystle, Ashley, Jimmy, Brenda and Brittany; great grandchildren Ethan, Kenton, Haythem, Liam and Ava;
her sisters Elizabeth (Nin) Kiervin St. John, Sherry (David) Theriault, Miramichi and brother in law Herman Cortes, Miramichi.
Also many nieces and nephews who she loved, and treated as her own.

Marg was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Elizabeth Duffy;
her husband James (Jim) Lingley; her brothers Alvin and William and sisters Barbara and Elgina, along with a number of nephews.

In keeping with Marg’s wishes, there will be no visitation. The family will hold a private graveside service in the spring.

Her passing has left a big hole in our hearts, but we find comfort in knowing she has been reunited with the love of her life, as well as many, many family members.
