Margaret Ann Simon, of Eel Ground, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 59.

Born in Eel Ground, she was the daughter of the late Mary Margaret Simon.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Michael (Dusty) Power of Eel Ground; two daughters Claudette Mary and Melissa Helena Mary both of Eel Ground; son Michael Robert of Eel Ground; four sisters Rita Martin (Chester) of Eel Ground, Brenda Lee (Sandy) Simon (Gus Mullin) of Kox, Newfoundland, Belinda Marie Simonson (John) of Eel Ground, and Lori Ann Simon (Jim Farley) of Eel Ground; two brothers John Simon (Katie Joseph) of Indian Island, and Phillip Francis Simon (Sonya Lingley) of Eel Ground; three grandsons Draden Simon, Phoenix Simon, and Liam Simon; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Sunday, August 21, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 22, 2016, at 2 pm, from St Joachim’s Roman Catholic Church, with Father Tom Fowler officiating.
