The Death of Mac William Savoy occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday April 5 at the age of 90

Born in Lower Neguac he was the son of the late Edward and Ida (MacWilliam) Savoy.

Mac,as he was known as by his friends was a retired Mechanic and also worked as a Park Warden. He belonged to Royal Canadian Legion branch # 10,was a Veteran of World War two, was a member of the Newcastle Friendship Club, Northumberland Lodge number 17 F and AM and attended St. James Presbyterian Church,

He is survived by his Wife Daisy (Wotherspoon) Savoy a Daughter Lorna Deveau ( Jackie) of Alberta,Sisters Marge Forbes (Roger ) and Ruby of Neguac, a Brother Robert of Neguac,and two Grandchildren Ryan and Kyle Deveau

Mac was predeceased by his Son Billy in 2013.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday April 11 at 11 a.m. From Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Terry Jones officiating.

Please note all Masons are invited to meet at the Funeral Home at 10: 30 a.m.
