Lunn Eugene Johnston

Lunn Eugene Johnston, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at Vondy House- Miramichi Hospice, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the age of 75.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Mel and Irene (MacTavish) Johnston. Prior to retirement, Lunn was an entrepreneur and owned his own company, MEG Systems.

He will be greatly missed by his loving soulmate Marilyn Burke; two sons Lunn Johnston of Moncton and Robert Johnston (Robin) of Edmonton, AB; two grandchildren Shaundra Crawford and Zack Johnston; four great grandchildren Jackson, Eden, Carmen, and Madelyn; nephew Colin Stewart and niece Lauralie Johnston.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Lou Stewart, brother Laurie Johnston, and niece Claudia Stewart.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jennifer for her compassionate care and support, and a special thank you to Extra Mural and the staff at Vondy House for their excellent care and kindness.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of Lunn's life will be held at a later date.
