Ludger Belanger, of Beaverbrook, passed away peacefully at Vondy House, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the age of 81.
Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Charles and Rose Anne (Doiron) Belanger. Prior to retirement, Ludger worked as a miner.
He will be greatly missed by his daughters Renee Trombley (Rick) of Tisdale, Sk, and Michelle Robichaud (Gary) of Beaverbrook; his sister Alma LeBreton (Late Robert Pelletier and Late Ceril LeBreton) of Marathon, ON; his four brothers Leo Belanger (Leona) Regina, SK, Claude Belanger (Donna) of Miramichi, Edmond Belanger (Late Josephine) of Red Deer, AB; Vernon Belanger (Adele) of Miramichi; seven grandchildren Rikki Lynn Stellito (Robin), Myles Trombley (Kristen), Dianna Sullivan (Nicholas), Haley Martin (Kyle), Ashley McCutcheon (Aaron), and Dustin (Kate); 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by the mother of his children, Yolande Morris.
Visitation will be held at Northumberland Funeral Home on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 6 to 8 pm. Interment will take place in L'Ascension Roman Catholic Cemetery, in Beaverbrook, at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Vondy House- Miramichi Hospice.
