Louis LeGresley

August 24, 1951 — April 6, 2024

Louis LeGresley, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the age of 72.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Marie (Arseneau) LeGresley. He worked in the parts services department at Heath Steele Mines, NB Power, UPM and finished his career with KMC Mining in Fort Mcmurray. Louis was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, in Chatham Head.

Louis loved talking to his grandsons, going for coffee, and chatting with his friends at Tim's. 

He will be greatly missed by his three sons Jeffrey (Loan) of Edmonton, AB, Jerry (Ellisa) of Shuswap, BC, and Daniel (Maria) of Calgary, AB; two sisters Edna Arsenault (Peter) of Dieppe and Irene Connell (Aloysius) of Miramichi; brother Emery (Pam) of Miramichi; four grandsons Colten, Aidan, Deacon and Walker; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Alfred LeGresley.

A funeral service will be held at St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11 AM.  Interment will take place in the church cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
