Kristy Marie Kenny

Kristy Marie Kenny passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the age of 43, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of Robert and Lois (O’Donnell) Kenny. She worked as a caregiver and was a member of St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church.

Kristy will be greatly missed by her brothers: Bradley (Lori) of Strathadam and Michael of Millerton, as well as her nephews: Kyrean, Liam and Will, and niece: Lauryn. Her fur baby dog Max and fur kitty Jinx will long for her love and attention.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents: John and Helena O’Donnell and paternal grandparents: Ervine and Thelma Matchett, as well as several aunts and uncles.

The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church in Renous on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:00 am with Father Paul Doucet officiating. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Cemetery in Millerton, NB

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Cemetery or a memorial of one’s choice.
