  • Kenneth Manderville, of Derby, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 76.

    He was the son of the late Ken and Annie (Bryenton) Manderville and was retired from the Department of Transportation. Kenneth was an active member of Northumberland Lodge No. 17 F&AM and Miramichi Shriners. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, his life revolved around his family and his grand children known best to them as "Old Doe". Florence and Kenneth traveled with the Shriners Facts and Figures Unit all over the Maritimes and Maine. He was also a member of St Peter's Anglican Church, Millerton.

    He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Florence (Lavoie) of Derby; two sons Shannon (Diane MacRae) of Black River and Brad (Lisa) of Fredericton; his sister Paula Cassidy (Phil) of Miramichi; his brother Gilbert (Carlene) of Bryenton; four grandchildren Kent, Kurtis, Dylan, and Brady, and two step grandchildren Jack and Emma; as well as several nieces and nephews.

    Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Sterling Manderville and his sister Janet Manderville.

    A reception to celebrate the life of Kenneth will take place at Northumberland Funeral Home from 3 to 6 pm following the funeral. Everyone welcomed.
    A funeral will take place on Monday, April 2, 2018, at 2 pm, from St Peter's Anglican Church, Millerton, with Father Gerry Laskey and Father Bob Barry officiating.
    Please note; a Masonic Service will take place at the church, at 1:30 pm, prior to the funeral service.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Peter's Anglican Church or to the Miramichi Shrine Facts and Figures Unit.
