Mrs. Joyce Richards of Miramichi passed away on Wednesday January 30, 2008 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late James and Annie (Dunnett) Allison. She was a home maker. Joyce was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Father Dixon Council 4886 and past president of the Columbian Ladies. She attended St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Miramichi.

Joyce is survived by five daughters Madelyn Manderson (Paul) of Miramichi, Cathleen Green (Derek) of Nelson, Caron Gray (Robert) South Esk., Judith Richards of Miramichi and Jennifer Witherell (Rick) of Miramichi; one son Mark of South Esk; two sisters Rola Crocker of Miramichi and Nellie Casement of St. Catherine’s; one brother Joe Allison (Frances) of Boston; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Harry she was predeceased by three brothers William, Ronald and Colin.
