John is survived by his wife Mary (Lynch) McDonnell, three sons; Gerard (Joyce) of Miramichi, Bernard (Kim) of Miramichi, Reggie (Janet) of Miramichi, two sisters; Evelyn Fletcher of Miramichi, Marguerite Connick of Miramichi, five grandchildren; Angela Murphy, Jennifer, Marsha, Brian and Kaitlin; and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by one sister Lillian Shannahan and one brother Michael.
