  • John Edward Bransfield passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 15 at the age of 37. Born in Miramichi, he was the son of James Denny and Dorothy Ward. He was raised by his adoptive parents, Billy and Louise Bransfield, of Gardiner Point, NB.

    He is survived by two Daughters; Erin and Madison of Toronto, one son Austin Ross of Miramichi. Five sisters Sarah Lee, Elizabeth, Lena (Richard), Karen (Mike) all of Ontario, Lillian (Charlie) of Miramichi. Three brothers Adam, Lawrence (Judy) and Roy (Paulette) of Miramichi. Seven nieces and nephews; Eric, Bradley, Heather, Marcus, Sarah, Myles, Randy, great nephew Luke and great-great niece Gwen.

    John is also survived by birth Brothers Junior Denny, George Denny, Norman Denny, Adam Ward and Jonathan Ward; birth sisters, Vera Denny and Sarah Lee Ward.

    He is predeceased by maternal Grandmother Bertha Ward and paternal Grandfather Peter S Ward of Eel Ground.

    The Family will receive relatives and friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7-9 and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9.

    Mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 3 pm from Saint Michael's by the Sea Roman Catholic Church in Bay du Vin officiated by Father Charles Udeh. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.

    As expressions of sympathy donations to Cystic Fibrosis would be appreciated by the Family.
