Jean Lenora (Underhill) Williston, of Blackville, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 76.

Born in Blackville, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Beatrice Underhill. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Hotel Dieu Hospital and went on to work in their pediatrics wing. She retired as a nurse from the Atlantic Institution, in Renous, and was also a member of the Miramichi Retired Nurses. In her spare time, Jean loved playing cards with the Blackville Seniors.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Robert "Buster" Williston of Blackville; her daughter Kim (Ed Arbeau) of Miramichi; two sons Craig of Blackville and Shawn (Carrie Fleiger) of Miramichi; one sister Elaine Morehouse of Blackville; six grandchildren Lindsay, Taya, Maria, Shane, Brent, and Ryan; niece Valerie Copp and nephew Hal Morehouse; as well as several great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, in Blackville, on Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018, at 11 am, from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, with Father Laskey officiating.

Members of the Miramichi Retired Nurses Association are asked to meet at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, on Friday, April 6, 2018, no later than 10:30 am.
