James (Jimmy) Baisley, of Miramichi, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 66.



Born in Newcastle, he was the son of the late Mark and Gabrielle (Lambinon) Baisley. He was retired from REPAP and a member of the Canadian Paper Workers Union #689. Jimmy will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather who had a passion for reading. He was an avid hockey fan and loved the Toronto Maple Leafs.

He will be greatly missed by his companion Diane White of Miramichi; two daughters Alicia (Chris Jardine) of Miramichi and Krista (Nathan Conners) of Moncton; brother Roy Baisley (Nancy) of Strathadam; grandson Joshua James Jardine; two aunts Jacqueline Sabelin-Lambinon and Ruby Manship; niece Meghan Wilkins (Jeff) and nephew Christopher Baisley.



The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Friday, July 28, 2017, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 11 am, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ross Wyseman officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or to Hospice Miramichi.
