James (Jim) Gillespie, of Blackville, passed away on Satuday, January 30, 2016, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 72.
Born in Blackville, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Claire (Clark) Gillespie.
He is survived by four daughters Ronda Gillespie of London, ON, Denise Migdu of London, ON, Jamie DeLeo (Carmine) of Ajax, ON, and Kim Adams (Mark) of London, ON; one son Cameron of London, ON; three sisters Stella Grimbleby of Blackville, Sigrid Hubbard (David) of Millerton, and Doris Harniman of Toronto, ON; one brother Gerald (Sharron) of Blackville; ten grandchildren Patrick, Shane, Cody, Jeffery, Robbie, Reese, Michael, Luke, Matthew, and Michael; three great grandchildren Jorden, Chase, and Chloe; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends from St Andrew's United Church hall, in Blackville, on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at 11 am, from St Andrew's United Church, Blackville, with Rev. Kathryn McIntosh officiating.
