James Burton Warren, of Chaplin Island Road, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

He was the son of the late Lawrence and Ruby (Gifford) Warren, and a retiree of Domtar after 43 years of service.

He was also a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Barbara; three daughters Debbie Donovan, Rose Sherrard (Robert) and Sherry Crocker (Mark) all of Miramichi; two sons Larry (Geraldine) and Jimmy (Lesa) both of Miramichi; one brother Jack (Rachel) of Miramichi; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters Audrey Warren, Ella Scott (late Vernon), and Shirley McFarlane (late Donnie).

A private family visitation will be held at Northumberland Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27, 2019, followed by a public Mass of Christian Burial, at 2:00 pm, from Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, with Father Antonio Reyes officiating.

Interment will take place in the Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery at a later date.
