Jacqueline Marion (McInnis) Vickers, of Blackville, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 63.

Born in Newcastle, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mae (McLean) McInnes. She was retired as a custodian from Blackville School, and was a member of St Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, Blackville.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter Faith (Ron Harold) of Edmonton, Alberta; two sons Chris Vickers of Blackville and Terence (Trina) of Fort McMurray; two sisters Marie Tucker of Quarryville, and Wanda Kilpatrick (Steven) of Saint John; three brothers Eddie (Yvonne) of Saint John, Jimmy of Red Deer. Alberta, and Billy of Saint John; granddaughter Fallon Vickers (Luke Antle); one aunt Mary Matheson of Miramichi; several nieces and nephews; and her cherished cats Chewy and Sammy.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Dale Vickers; brother Laurie; niece Wendy; infant brother Frankie; and infant sister Debbie.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 11:30 am, from St Raphael's Roman Catholic Cemetery, in Blackville, with a reception to follow at the church hall.
